Vrinda, Kaushiki and Naman, all in their second year of collegiate debate, recently teamed up for the 75th iteration of one of India’s oldest tournaments. They made it to a bubble room, where they faced Manasija and Vansh, whose combined age is roughly the same as that of the tournament.
Manasija used his walking cane as a prop during the whip speech. His whip speech sounded as if it’s the 1000th time he was giving the same speech, probably because that’s true.
The debate ended in favour of Dilli Dinos and Co. (Vansh and Manasija). They proceeded to win the tournament and hounded other teams in the outrounds which made the mistake of registering at tournaments without checking whether their comp would be dinos with 6+ years of collegiate debate experience.
Vansh claimed in PM that he had debated this exact same motion 6 years ago in the Delhi circuit, and nothing has changed since then. He proceeded to list out 27 constructives, one for each candle he’ll put on his birthday cake this year.
